Toki National Archives Buildings

The Toki National Archives Buildings project was carried out in Istanbul between 2010 and 2012. In this project, TOKİ was the main employer and Siyah Kalem Engineering was the contractor. As Örtaş Çelik San. Tic. A.Ş., we took part in this prestigious project as the subcontractor responsible for the steel construction manufacturing. The project aimed to store Turkey’s important archive documents in a safe and orderly manner.

Steel construction structures with a capacity of 25,000 tons were used within the scope of the project. Designed with modern engineering solutions, these structures are extremely strong in terms of both aesthetics and functionality. The durability of the steel construction, the quality of the materials used in the project and meticulous workmanship allow the building to be used healthily for many years. This project is of critical importance for the protection of the country’s cultural heritage.

As Örtaş Çelik, we contributed by prioritizing quality and safety in the steel construction production in the National Archives Buildings. The construction of high quality steel structures we provided ensured the continuity and durability of the project. Taking part in this project is a great source of pride for us in terms of supporting the preservation of Turkey’s cultural heritage.
