

Saudi Arabia Sound Barrier
The Sound Barrier project, which was carried out in Saudi Arabia in 2016, was initiated by Işık Plastik. Örtaş Çelik San. Tic. A.Ş. took part in this important project as a subcontractor. The project was implemented to provide sound insulation on the high-speed train line between Mecca and Medina. Sound barriers represent an important infrastructure aimed at reducing noise in residential areas near the train line by minimizing environmental impacts.
The Sound Barrier project was built with environmentally friendly materials, ensuring sustainability. Sound barriers along the train line significantly reduced noise pollution and protected residential areas. Modern engineering solutions both increased durability and created an aesthetically compatible structure. The project developed Saudi Arabia’s transportation infrastructure while also prioritizing public health.
The cooperation between Işık Plastik and Örtaş Çelik San. Tic. A.Ş. ensured that the project was completed on time and safely. The steel construction structures used in the construction of the sound barriers ensured their longevity and durability. With this project, the train line in the region has been made safe and comfortable, and the environmental impact has been reduced.
