Rize – Artvin Airport

The Rize – Artvin Airport project is an important infrastructure project located in the Pazar district of Rize and carried out between 2020 and 2021. This project was carried out by the State Airports Authority (DHMİ) and the main contractor company was Cengiz İnşaat and ASL İnşaat Ortaklığı. The subcontractor of the project was Örtaş Çelik San. Tic. A.Ş.

Constructed using steel construction structures with a total capacity of 6400 tons, Rize – Artvin Airport aims to develop air transportation in the region and increase access to air transportation. This project will make a significant contribution to the economic and social development of the region and will have positive effects on the region in the areas of tourism, trade and employment.
