Kocaeli Pedestrian Overpasses

The Pedestrian Overpasses project, which was carried out by the Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality in 2012, aims to facilitate urban transportation and increase pedestrian safety. Within the scope of this project, İlke Yapı İnşaat took on the role of the main contractor company, while Örtaş Çelik San. Tic. A.Ş. took on the role of the subcontractor company.

The pedestrian overpasses, which were constructed using steel construction structures with a total capacity of 2500 tons, were designed to regulate the heavy pedestrian traffic in the city and ensure pedestrian safety. The overpasses, which attract attention with their modern and sturdy structures, offer a safe and comfortable pedestrian crossing experience to city residents.
