Gebze Halkalı Marmaray Station

The Gebze Halkalı Marmaray Station project is an important project carried out to strengthen Istanbul’s transportation infrastructure and further develop the Marmaray line. Undertaken by Örtaş Çelik San. Tic. A.Ş., this project was successfully completed between 2018 and 2020. Connecting two important points of Istanbul, this station was built by the KKC Marmaray Ordinary Partnership. This project, in which Örtaş Çelik San. Tic. A.Ş. served as the main contractor and subcontractor company, ensured that the city’s transportation network was used more effectively and efficiently.

The Gebze Halkalı Marmaray Station project was an important step in terms of environmental sustainability as well as modernizing Istanbul’s transportation network. Energy-efficient systems and environmentally friendly construction methods were used within the scope of the project. In addition, local materials and resources were preferred in the construction of the station, contributing to regional development. The Marmaray line has accelerated transportation between the Asian and European sides of Istanbul, while also reducing traffic congestion, providing significant relief in urban transportation.
